CARE (Community And Relationship Enrichment) is a volunteer-based initiative that connects Auburn Lakes residents with caring neighbors who provide companionship, practical support, and meaningful relationships.
We serve Auburn Lakes in Viera East, Florida.
CARE is faith-inspired and rooted in biblical values of caring for neighbors, but we welcome and serve everyone regardless of religious background.
Correct! All services are 100% free. We’re volunteers helping neighbors build community.
CARE is run by Auburn Lakes residents and coordinated by local volunteers.

Typically within 1-2 weeks, depending on volunteer availability and your needs.
We do our best to match based on location, interests, and needs. If the match isn’t right, we’ll find someone else.
That’s okay! Even if you just want a friendly phone call once a week, we’re here for you.

Yes. Everything you share is confidential and never shared without your permission.
Absolutely. Just let us know and we’ll adjust or find a new match.
Call 911 for emergencies. CARE volunteers can help with non-emergency support and coordination.

Adults (18+) and youth (13-17 with parent consent) from Auburn Lakes.
No. Just a caring heart, reliability, and some free time.
As little as 15 minutes per week. You choose your level of involvement.

We check in periodically to see how things are going and offer support. You can also reach out anytime.
Safety & Privacy
We provide clear safety guidelines, emergency protocols, and ongoing coordinator support. We encourage volunteers and participants to meet in public places initially and trust their instincts.
CARE relies on community trust and personal responsibility. Volunteers agree to our guidelines and code of conduct.

We collect only necessary information and keep it confidential. We never share information without permission.
We have clear procedures for handling various situations. Both volunteers and participants receive emergency contact information and guidelines.

CARE was founded by Auburn Lakes residents who saw neighbors experiencing isolation and wanted to build stronger community connections.
CARE is an independent, community-based initiative.
CARE operates through volunteer donations of time. We may accept financial donations for operational costs in the future.
Currently, we operate entirely through volunteer time. Check back for future opportunities to support our mission.
